You’ll be able to navigate your way in and around Genk with ease, armed with our free cycling map outlining three different circular routes. Thanks to the clever junction system, it takes no time at all to cycle from Genk city centre to the outskirts... or vice versa. Along the way, you’ll pass all Genk’s main sights, so either take your time or whizz along, as the mood takes you.
- CIRCULAR CYCLE RIDE 1: 22 KM
- CIRCULAR CYCLE RIDE 2: 40 KM
- CIRCULAR CYCLE RIDE 3: 52 KM
You’ll find copies of the free cycling map outlining three circular routes at C-mine Visitor Centre, at bicycle hire outlets and at the place where you are staying.
Perhaps you are planning to explore Genk on the bicycle you have brought with you? No problem!
Otherwise, you can hire a green Limburg Cycling Paradise bicycle in various locations, including extra service. You are even given a repair kit to take with you. Be sure to reserve your bicycle well in advance by going online at www.fietsparadijslimburg.be! Bicycles are available to hire in Kattevennen and Bokrijk, at the bike hub at the railway station in the centre and at C-mine. If you have brought your own bicycle with you, the bike hub at the station will carry out small repairs and you can also park your bicycle under cover there.
