What's SportinGenk?
If you’re a sports fanatic, SportinGenk is heaven on earth. It’s where you can fully indulge in the sport of your choice. The park is centrally located in Genk, at an equal distance from the city centre, C-mine and Thor Park.
In the Balance Building (Balancegebouw), you’ll find a traditional swimming pool, but also a completely renovated and fully equipped gym, a climbing wall, a martial arts space and a dance space. This is the starting point for most Start to Move classes, including Zumba and figure training.
The Arcade Building (Arcadegebouw) is suited for all kinds of indoor sports. For large sporting events or league games, both buildings can seat around 1000 spectators.
Make sure you go check out our skate park! This park is aimed at both novice skateboarders and advanced ones, at inline skaters, steppers and BMXers. Its obstacles include stairs, slopes and low walls. The skate park can be illuminated at the touch of a button, until 10.30 pm.
